Job Title:  Graphic Designer

Position Type: Full-Time, On-Site/Office-Based

Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

 

Satat Sampada is an organisation dedicated to promoting sustainable agriculture and organic and safe food solutions, and undertaking impactful climate solution projects. We operate an e-commerce platform, Eat Right Basket, promoting organic products. Our mission is to foster a healthy relationship between people and the environment.

 

Job Summary

We seek a passionate and versatile Graphic Designer to create visually compelling designs that effectively communicate the Eat Right Basket brand and the organisation's commitment to organic food. The role also involves basic management of the  e-commerce website's backend to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.


The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles for both digital and print applications. S/he will work closely with our marketing and project teams to develop eye-catching content across various formats, promoting Eat Right Basket, the benefits of organic food, and solutions to climate change. The candidate should also possess skills in basic e-commerce website management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Label and Packaging Design: Create visually appealing and informative labels for our Eat Right Basket organic food product range that adhere to industry standards.

  • Posters and Infographics: Develop educational and promotional posters and infographics highlighting climate justice work, organic farming practices, the advantages of organic food, and the Eat Right Basket brand.

  • Social Media Graphics: Design engaging social media posts and graphics that showcase our work and particularly increase Eat Right Basket brand awareness and drive online traffic to our e-commerce platform.

  • Video Editing: Perform video editing tasks, including trimming, adding text overlays, transitions, and incorporating music/sound effects for short promotional and educational videos showcasing our work.

  • Website Graphics: Collaborate with web developers to create banners, icons, and other visual elements for the Eat Right Basket e-commerce and Satat Sampada websites.

  • Ideation and Conceptualization: Proactively contribute ideas for marketing campaigns and participate in brainstorming sessions.

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs align with the established Eat Right Basket and Satat Sampada brands identity and style guidelines.

  • Basic E-commerce Website Backend Management: Manage the backend of our e-commerce platform, including product listings, troubleshoot technical issues, and working closely with the development team to implement updates and improvements.

  • Other tasks, as assigned by the organisation.

  

Required experience and attributes

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Minimum of 2+ years of proven experience in graphic design.

  • A strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in label design, print design, and digital design.

  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva etc.

  • Basic video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar)

Preferred

Experience in designing for e-commerce platforms.

  • Familiarity with SEO and technical issues related to e-commerce website backend.

  • Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge and interest in organic farming and environment sustainability.
