Jyoti Awasthi is the Co-founder and CEO of Satat Sampada Private Limited, with over two decades of experience in the social sector. She has worked closely with disadvantaged communities, developing a deep understanding of the challenges facing modern agriculture, including farmer distress, economic pressures, and declining food quality.
She leads Satat Sampada’s farmer training and capacity-building programmes, promoting innovative, nature-based farming practices. Her work has enabled a growing network of farmers to transition to organic methods, contributing to a broader movement for safe, sustainable food systems.
Jyoti also collaborates with organic farming clusters and small-scale food entrepreneurs across India, supporting the revival of traditional foods for contemporary urban markets.
She holds a Master’s degree in Botany and in Mass Communication in Science & Technology, and was awarded the Dr Rajendra Prasad Impactful Social Worker Award (2019) by India Positive for her contributions to organic farming and food integrity.

Harjeet Singh is the Co-founder of Satat Sampada Private Limited and the Founding Director of the Satat Sampada Climate Foundation. He specialises in advancing just transitions, strengthening adaptation and resilience programmes, and addressing climate impacts and migration.
​Harjeet also serves as Strategic Advisor to the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty Initiative and as Global Convenor of the “Fill The Fund” campaign on Loss and Damage.
​Previously, he served as Head of Global Political Strategy at Climate Action Network (CAN) International and led ActionAid’s global climate justice programme. He has also held board positions at CAN International and the Global Network of Civil Society Organisations for Disaster Reduction (GNDR).
Currently, he is a member of the United Nations Technical Expert Group on Comprehensive Risk Management under the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage. Harjeet has authored and overseen numerous publications on climate justice and disaster resilience.
